Do I need to secure my load when using a Ute?
It is important to secure your load using ropes or a tarp if required. Once the cargo is secure, you’re ready to go.
What does payload capacity refer to?
Payload capacity is the amount of weight that the Ute can carry. In this case, the payload capacity of our Utes ranges from 950 kg to 1T.
Are there any additional fees associated with hiring a Ute from SCTR, such as insurance or fuel charges?

The Ute comes with a full tank of fuel. You are responsible for returning the tank filled up. If it is not filled up when returned to us, then we charge a fee to refill the tank ready for the next customer. We do not provide insurance for your freight.

There are various insurance options available, which will be explained to you by the rental clerk. We do not provide insurance to cover the freight that you carry.

Is there a limit on kilometres or any restrictions on the distance or duration of the rental period?

Every vehicle has a km limit per day. If you go over this limit, you will be charged an additional fee. This will all be explained during the rental process allowing you to choose the best km option for your trip.
